Whatever your plans, make the Aerial Tram your starting point in Estes Valley. The tram will take you above the tree tops to the cool summit of Prospect Mountain where you can stay all day or return whenever you wish.  From the observation platform you can plan your itinerary and be thrilled by the panoramic view of Longs Peak, the ranges of the Continental Divide, Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park Village.

Ascend 1,100 vertical feet in less than five minutes.  Soaring some 200 feet above the mountainside.


While atop Prospect Mountain

  • Visit the upper terminal Deli.
  • Hike on the mountain trails.
  • Picnic among the pines.
  • Or just relax and view the mountain wonders of nature.

Estes Park Aerial Tramway

The Estes Park tramway whisks you effortlessly to the upper terminal of Prospect Mountain, 8,700 feet.  Here you’re on Rockies rooftop. Thirty miles east lie the Great Plains.  A half mile below are Estes Village and the shining Lake Estes.  A breathtaking Rockies panorama unfolds west and south - the great snow peaks of the Continental Divide, climaxing in rugged Longs Peak, 14,255 feet, highest peak in Rocky Mountain National Park.
